Bit of a quickie but I like the feeling of emptiness this image gives off, at least that's what it feels like to me.
When I showed it to my friend Alan, he asked why only one eye is stitched shut.
My explanation:
Because when a person is depressed, they only see half of the picture.
When someone is depressed, the realy only do see half of the picture. They arent aware of what is really going on around them. If people around them know that they are depressed, they're concern isnt heeded and the pain continues. And a depressed person cant explain what's wrong, hence why the mouth is sewn shut as well.
I know the feeling, honestly. Long story short, 2005 wasnt a great year for me.... at all. It only let up towards the end of the year, say from late October onward. But, I got sick and tired of always feeling depressed and I started looking forward a bit more..... it helped. 2006 was a blissful year (( though it had its pitfalls )), and 2007 has been looking decent.
I hope that things let up for you, and I say that as a person who's been in the same boat.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
