I drew this with the song "Toy Soldiers" from Martika on my mind. I kept playing it over and over again until this image was done.
I think it came out quite nicely. This was quite the bitch to ink as I had to continuously switch to a different colour pen, repeatedly. However, I love the result. Now, onward about the picture. Think of her as a rejected toy.....an old toy whom a child has lost their interest with. So, there the pupper sits, her arms suspended by torn ribbons and strings that hang from a low nail. She sits there, waiting for the day the dust can be blown from her and she be played with again. Has she been abandoned? Forgotten? Lost? The look on her face ex[resses discontentment, if not some despair. GAH!! The ANGST!! All in all, I am very pleased with the outcome of this picture. Yep yep!! ;3 The Dejected Puppet is (C) ME!! |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
